Forty-three-year-old Michael walked into the George Washington University Hospital Emergency Room complaining of chest pain. The Washington D.C. handyman had no health insurance but was not eligible for any financial assistance programs.

Financial Overview
Based on our audited financial statements the Larry King Cardiac Foundation spent 78% of total expenses on programs working to Save a Heart a Day, 12% on administrative expenses and 10% in fundraising.
We recently had an audit completed by certified public accountants from Dunham, Aukamp, & Rhodes, PLC. in Chantilly, VA. and will report that shortly.
